Wilbert Robinson or Garret Anderson

  • for the primary hook and ALT1. for ALT2. The article is new, long enough, well-cited throughout with good sources, and the hooks meet length and formatting guidelines. Checks of the references supporting the hook facts revealed no close paraphrasing. The hook facts for the primary hook and ALT1 are supported adequately by the citations. The only comment I have there is that ref 4 is not saying that Robinson was the first player with 10 RBIs in a game; I assume it is not including 19th-century players. Unless that source is being used to support something else, I'd just drop it. For ALT2, the source is from 2007 and doesn't prove by itself that Anderson's 10-RBI game was the most recent. I suggest adding the MLB.com general reference as a citation here, since that will be sufficiently up-to-date to provide verification. The two photos check out fine, although I like the primary hook best because it combines two rare accomplishments that baseball fans like myself will find interesting; of the two alt hooks, I prefer the first, as it again mentions multiple records. • There's a table at the very bottom of ref 4 that lists everyone whose hit 10 RBIs (including 19th century players), and Robinson's the earliest listed date. As for ALT2, I've added the MLB general ref to verify Anderson as the most recent. Cheers! —Bloom6132 (talk) 19:46, 26 May 2014 (UTC)
  • You're right about the former ref 4; I didn't look down far enough to see the list. Since my one valid concern is now addressed, this looks good to go. Giants2008 (Talk) 01:44, 27 May 2014 (UTC)
