Mrs Funnybones

[edit]

Created by Skr15081997 (talk). Self-nominated at 13:20, 8 September 2015 (UTC).

  • The article was created on September 8 (date of nomination) and it is just barely long enough (1509 characters by my count). Significant portions of text are quotations from other sources, but I still think this article passes the length requirement because the quoted material is integrated with the author's own prose. I didn't see any policy issues, and QPQ is satisfied. Both hooks are verified via inline citations, but my strong preference is for ALT1. I'm not sure if leaving your spouse's real name out of a book is particularly interesting, but I will AGF that enough readers are familiar with the subject for this to be interesting.
Skr15081997, I would like to encourage you to expand this article by including a more comprehensive synopsis of the plot. For example, you may want to mention in the article that "each chapter begins with a funny anecdote or couplet which prepare the reader for the chapter that follows". You do an excellent job summarizing the critical reception, but I think you should say more about what is actually contained in the pages of this book.
