- Comment: Please suggest modification(s) or a better hook as this is my first DYK submission and so it may not be perfect.

- Is there any information on whether he was tried and convicted? All the sources in that article are from 2017 when he was arrested. I appreciate that Time quotes him as saying "If I were younger, I wouldn’t have been caught. I’ll quit now as I’m 74 and old enough.", but that's not the same as an actual conviction. As per WP:SUSPECT (and WP:BLP1E) I'm not sure the article itself is currently suitable, regardless of DYK. Garnet-Septagon (talk) 08:58, 16 July 2023 (UTC)
- Hello Garnet-Septagon, thanks for reviewing the DYK. You're right, I can't seem to find any routine coverage for this WP:BLPCRIME. All the sources are from a similar time period of October 2017 and revolve around the same facts, and none of them talks about an actual conviction. Under WP:BLP1E it is correct to say this individual was only covered in reliable sources for one singular event. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 20:18, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
- I have to agree here. If there's no lasting coverage then I'm not sure if this is even notable. I suggest the article be put up for AFD to test notability. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 11:24, 1 August 2023 (UTC)
- @Narutolovehinata5, Garnet-Septagon, and Raydann: Refreshing the record, this was kept at AfD in a discussion closed on 22 August. How should this nomination proceed? Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 17:34, 20 September 2023 (UTC)
- If the article was kept at AFD then that sorts out the notability issue, but other article issues still need to be addressed, if any. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 01:35, 21 September 2023 (UTC)
- New enough and long enough. QPQ-exempt nominator. Hook fact checks out, and there are no textual issues. Things look okay here. Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 01:42, 22 September 2023 (UTC)
