Oddfellows' Hall, Chester

[edit]

Oddfellows' Hall, Chester

  • ... that when Lady Mary Calverley built Oddfellows' Hall (pictured) in Chester, England, in 1676, she was fined £20 because it caused the loss of a portion of the Chester Rows?

Created/expanded by Peter I. Vardy (talk). Self nom at 09:18, 2 November 2011 (UTC)

  • Length ok, however, the hook (that Lady Mary Calverley was fined £20) is not sourced. Only what the the sum £20 is today is sourced, Huldra (talk) 19:31, 3 November 2011 (UTC)
  • Done. Sorry, the citation was at the end of the following sentence (against the "rules"!). Cheers. --Peter I. Vardy (talk) 21:13, 3 November 2011 (UTC)
Ok, AGF to off-line source. Everything else checks out ok. Huldra (talk) 22:17, 3 November 2011 (UTC)
