  • A really new GA, with its prose sections definitely over 1500 words. The article appears to be appropriately supported, referenced and linked. Sources appear to be offline sources, but since they are properly written, they are taken with good faith. The hook is straightforward and in fact many parts of the articles do support the notion. The nominator also appears to have done his/her share of reviewing another article. Image is clear and has been licensed properly for its use on Wikipedia. This article is good to go. Can I suggest we run it with File:The_deck_of_the_Novgorod_circular_ironclad.png instead? I think that image will be far clearer as a tiny thumbnail. Adam Cuerden (talk) 22:09, 28 September 2015 (UTC)

@Sturmvogel 66:, I am promoting with suggested alt image from @Adam Cuerden:. If you disagree, there's time to change it if you post a message at WT:DYK. Also, I changed the wording from "most unusual" to "worst", because that is the wording actually sourced. I like the color image, but it looks like a homemade cake. — Maile (talk) 21:22, 29 September 2015 (UTC)
