SS Broompark (1939)[edit]

  • ... that in June 1940 the SS Broompark brought French scientists, heavy water, and diamonds to Britain? Source: "They had also organised the evacuation of most of the French scientists, many with their families, who were on the Broompark...On the Broompark a raft was built to house both the diamonds and the heavy water" [1]

Moved to mainspace by Hawkeye7 (talk). Self-nominated at 00:00, 31 December 2016 (UTC).

  • New enough (moved to mainspace one day before nomination) and long enough (almost 5K characters of prose). The article is well referenced with at least one ref per paragraph. Hook is within size and referenced. No copyright or neutrality issue detected. QPQ is done. Good to go. MB 22:48, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
