Spring Run[edit]

  • ... that although Spring Run is designated as a Coldwater Fishery, it is devoid of trout?

  • This article is new enough and long enough. The hook facts are reliably sourced but it is hardly surprising that there are no trout because, as the source puts it, "Spring Run is virtually dry all year due to the large volumes of water that are lost to the open mine voids and permeable stream channels". The surprise is that anyone thought to consider a dried up streambed to be a coldwater fishery. The article is neutral and no copyvios were found. ALT1 ... that although Spring Run is designated as a Coldwater Fishery, it contains no water for most of the year and is devoid of trout?
