While ALT0 could potentially work, it wouldn't really be that eye-catching of a hook since the Venezuela/Argentina connection could easily be missed. Instead, it might be a better idea to focus on ALT1; however, it might be a bit too vague (by what exactly does it mean by "classic Hollywood techniques"?), so clarification on that end might be needed. - Yes, but it might take up too much space? Or perhaps Alt1a - I'd have to look through the sources again, but one of them explicitly says that there are no jokes and it relies on the implicit forms, supposedly taken from Hollywood, to be a comedy, which might also be something to have?

- I actually like ALT1a, but the article suggests that the film using dramatic irony is an analysis from much later, and wasn't a contemporary report. If it can't work out, a possible alternative hook could be how he actually came to Venezuela to act and not to direct; I'm not sure where the "effectively bored" part comes from since it doesn't seem to be mentioned in the article. Article meets DYK requirements, is long enough and adequately sourced. Hooks are cited inline; I am assuming good faith for the offline Spanish-language sources. ALT2 and ALT3 are the best hooks, but I think ALT3 is the quirkier and more unusual among the two. QPQ has been done. Apart from a change I'd suggest to the sentence "It was Thorry's directorial debut, after he came to Venezuela to act, and was commercially successful" (there should probably be no comma after "debut") this should be good to go.
