The Baker Street Journal[edit]

Created/expanded by ThaddeusSholto (talk). Self-nominated at 02:14, 27 November 2018 (UTC).

  • There are two glaring issues at the moment. First, the article is only 1204 characters, which is short of the 1500 requirement. Secondly, the article currently has a stub template. Otherwise, the article seems to meet other requirements: it is new enough, the sourcing is adequate; offline sources are accepted in good faith. The article is stable, neutral, and free from close paraphrasing. This is the nominator's fourth DYK nomination so no QPQ is required. The article needs more work before this can be approved; this will pass once the necessary expansion is done. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 03:57, 29 November 2018 (UTC)
How do I check the character number of an article? ThaddeusSholto (talk) 14:31, 29 November 2018 (UTC)
@ThaddeusSholto: You can try using Shubinator's DYK check tool: the link and instructions are at User:Shubinator/DYKcheck. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 14:57, 29 November 2018 (UTC)
OK thank you. ThaddeusSholto (talk) 14:47, 10 December 2018 (UTC)
@Narutolovehinata5: I think I have expanded it enough to reach the character limit although I may be misreading the DYK tool. ThaddeusSholto (talk) 20:26, 14 December 2018 (UTC)
- Length, Date, Cite (offline book refs accepted AGF), QPQ exempt, and Earwigs check. Both hooks approved. Mifter (talk) 07:08, 19 December 2018 (UTC)
