William Parks (publisher)[edit]

  • ... that the American colonial printer William Parks established four new newspapers in his lifetime?

Created by Doug Coldwell (talk). Self nominated at 15:41, 14 October 2013 (UTC).

  • Article - created new on 14 October, so new enough; 5452 characters of readable prose, so long enough; neutral; at least one inline citation to every paragraph; AGF on copyvios from well experienced editor as I can't access offline sources; assessed as start class; no BLP concerns although deceased over 200 years ago.
  • Hook - within length criteria at 97 characters; correctly formatted; correctly cited/supported by ref #3 in lead section and ref #22 in final paragraph of article; and interesting.
  • QPQ done; no image used.

Please fix DAB link for William Hunter as I can't work out which one it is and, although not a DYK requirement, the Torrence ref is throwing up a cite error (again, I've tried to fix but that one is defeating me!). SagaciousPhil - Chat 11:25, 15 October 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for tick. Tried to make DAB (in list for William Hunter) clearer. Took out Torrence ref as other references cover it.--Doug Coldwell (talk) 11:51, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
