- Article was promoted to GA on 19 August (Congratz). In general, article meets standards for DYK eligibility. However, the hook itself doesn't really meet the criteria of being interesting to a broad audience and for that reason I cannot approve it in its current form. Leaving as a possible vote to allow the user to include some alt hooks. Krisgabwoosh (talk) 05:46, 21 August 2022 (UTC)

- Alt 1: ... that Zdravko Ponoš (pictured), who placed second in the 2022 Serbian presidential election, is a fan of The Simpsons? Source
- Alt 2: ... that Zdravko Ponoš (pictured), who placed second in the 2022 Serbian presidential election, once published his work regarding Global Navigation Systems in a notable Japanese magazine? Source: Source
- I'm leaning towards no on the first one as it reads a tad generic—many people enjoy the The Simpsons. The second could work, although, perhaps you could find a source stating which magazine he published the work in? I've also proposed my own: Krisgabwoosh (talk) 15:25, 21 August 2022 (UTC)
- ALT 3: ... that as chief of the General Staff, Zdravko Ponoš began military cooperation between Serbia and the US state of Ohio? National Guard
