Hypothetical flag[edit]

Is there any support for keeping the hypothetical flag on this template? There is no mention of any real usage at Flag of Saskatchewan. 117Avenue (talk) 06:14, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please remove the hypothetical flag, which has no evidence of its existence, and add the 1868, 1921, and 1957 Canada flags, as well as the 1965 Saskatchewan flag by replacing the template syntax with the following:

{{ {{{1<noinclude>|country showdata</noinclude>}}}
| alias = Saskatchewan
| flag alias = Flag of Saskatchewan.svg
| flag alias-1905 = Flag of Canada-1868-Red.svg
| flag alias-1921 = Flag of Canada 1921.svg
| flag alias-1957 = Canadian Red Ensign.svg
| flag alias-1965 = Saskatchewan 60th Anniversary Flag.svg
| size = {{{size|}}}
| name = {{{name|}}}
| variant = {{{variant|}}}
<noinclude>
| var1 = 1905
| var2 = 1921
| var3 = 1957
| var4 = 1965
</noinclude>
}}

Renamed files[edit]

Please replace File:Flag of Canada-1868-Red.svg with File:Canadian Red Ensign 1868-1921.svg, and File:Flag of Canada 1921.svg with File:Canadian Red Ensign 1921-1957.svg. They were both renamed on Commons. Fry1989 eh? 00:54, 22 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Partly done: I did the first but not the second, because the second does not appear to have been renamed on commons - it's still there as commons:File:Flag of Canada 1921.svg I notice that this differs from File:Canadian Red Ensign 1921-1957.svg in that the harps (for Ireland) are very different. --Redrose64 (talk) 15:49, 22 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The original file was renamed by myself, however there has been problems with redirects not working, so a user from the German Wikipedia re-uploaded several of the files I renamed back under the old names. We are working on replacements so that the German user's duplicate uploads can be deleted, and this one requires an admin because of page protection. The harp differs on the original file because of this discussion, and the changes in the harp were made after this whole mess. The difference in the harp is not a matter of contention or dispute on Commons, this was simply because of the redirects problem. Fry1989 eh? 17:16, 22 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
OK, Done both. --Redrose64 (talk) 17:21, 22 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much. Fry1989 eh? 17:23, 22 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
