  • ... that two mummified cats (pictured) hang from the wall in the Stag Inn at Hastings, England?
  • Comment: Image is a funny size; may not be usable (?). Review is pending: I will fill in the "reviewed" parameter within the next 24 hours.

  • Hook length, article length, and timeliness of submission all check out. Online cite checks out. Image in public domain, OK for using on main page. (Image size needs to be fixed, or perhaps cropped, or...) Spots checks indicate no plagiarism, or close paraphrasing. OK for the queues. - Tim1965 (talk) 23:01, 1 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'll do some more work on the picture tonight (it was a difficult photo to take, with the dark pub interior and reflections from the lights). The Arscott book, although one of his slimmer works, is a decent source; he has written about 30 books on Sussex history and culture, going back to the 1980s if my memory serves. I just lightened and cropped it and then went back and retouched the worst of the reflections (left and by the one cat's paw). Hope this helps. Marrante (talk) 11:07, 2 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, that's a lot better: many thanks. I could submit a cropped version just showing the right-hand cat, which may be more suitable in terms of shape. I'll see how it comes out tonight. Hassocks5489 (tickets please!) 12:35, 2 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Couple of cropped versions of the image added above. Also, I reviewed Ichthyoplankton (diff). Hassocks5489 (tickets please!) 21:35, 2 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
