Template:Example cruft editnotice → Template:Excessive examples editnotice – "Cruft" is not a term that all editors know. Calling it Excessive examples makes it clearer what is made. The notice should be changed accordingly. This was brought up at Template talk:Example farm#Requested move 21 June 2021 where @JIP and Gonnym: have participated. --Trialpears (talk) 17:24, 22 June 2021 (UTC)
- Support per nom, pending successful outcome of the other RM at a more widely watched page; this is a reasonable simplification. {{u|Sdkb}} talk 17:30, 22 June 2021 (UTC)
- Support per nominator, a clearer and more consistent term. JIP | Talk 17:41, 22 June 2021 (UTC)
- Support. Emphatically. Words like "farm" and "cruft" are vague and subjective, and their usage in this context is considered slang. The proposed name is clearer and more consistent with the usage in other templates. — Johnnie Bob (talk) 17:47, 22 June 2021 (UTC)
