Looking to add Help:Pictures#Links to infobox image. I think this change would do it, but I don't edit templates often and make frequent errors, so please double-check me.

Except in very narrow circumstances, images should not have a custom link override. If the subject in the image (or the image itself) has an article, link to it in the caption. You want to have the cropped version of the Roswell Daily Record, but still link to the full picture. I personally would restore the picture of the front page, which doesn't require linking to it in the caption, with |image=, or on the Commons file page.
