As of January 1, 2011, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints reported 40,854 members in eight stakes,[1] 78 congregations (65 wards[2] and 13 branches[2]), two missions, and one temple in Maryland.[3][4]

Temple

The Washington D.C. Temple was dedicated on November 19, 1974, by President Spencer W. Kimball.
