The Film Review (formerly Film 24) is a 10-minute film related programme shown on BBC News each Friday evening at 5.45pm. It reviews three new films each week.

The programme's expert film critic is Mark Kermode, though others do stand in. The programme is part of the BBC News at Five, which airs just before the Film Review. The presenter is normally Gavin Esler, but if he is away, then whoever presents the BBC News at Five before hand will present the Film Review: presenters known to have presented the programme include Simon McCoy, Julian Worricker and Christian Fraser. The programme is usually repeated several times over the weekend.

The programme was renamed The Film Review on 22 March 2013, following BBC News 24's rebrand to BBC News and move to Broadcasting House.
