EJ 675 (Czech: Elektrická Jednotka, type 675) is a double decker electric train interregional power produced by Škoda Vagonka, a subsidiary of Škoda Transportation.

History

Two electric trains series 675 EJ purchased "UZ" in preparation for the UEFA Euro 2012. According to the contract signed January 12, 2011, the cost of two electric locomotives was 39.9 million.[clarification needed] Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine is considering the purchase of 50-60 trains Škoda to organize inter-regional passenger traffic.

March 13, 2012, in the Czech Republic was the first ceremony of transfer of electric trains Ukrainian delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Infrastructure Kolesnikov.

March 25, 2012, to RF-1 Kharkiv-Sorting JZ came the first of two electric locomotives series EJ 675. In the Czech Republic in Kharkiv electric train transported by rail through the Chop, Lviv and Kyiv.

Electric trains designed to carry passengers on electrified railway sections with a nominal voltage contact system 25 kV AC 50 Hz and 3 kV DC, with a width of 1520 mm in interregional traffic at speeds up to 160 km/h. (Maximal - 180 km/h).

Electric trains ply circular route Kharkiv - Donetsk - Kiev - Kharkiv and Kharkiv - Dnipropetrovsk - Donetsk - Lugansk - Donetsk - Kharkiv.

Composition electric

Electric train is formed of two main motor cars and four trailers in between. Number of cars in the electric 6.

Characterization and electric equipment

Total number of seats on the train is 636, of which 46 are first class, 590 are second class. All seats in the electric seats are designed for. Also available on the train seats for people with disabilities (for which each train provided by 4 lifts for wheelchairs and special toilets).

The total traction power - 4000kVt (8 induction motors of 500 kW each).
