Ubisoft Quebec (French: Ubisoft Québec) is an Ubisoft-owned video game developer located in Quebec City, Quebec. Founded as a subsidiary of Ubisoft in June 2005, initially developing low-profile projects, the studio now has over 300 employees.[1] Ubisoft Quebec has since developed the Wii version of Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands and contributed to Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.[2] They were also the lead studio for the 2015 Assassin's Creed title named Assassin's Creed Syndicate.[3]

History

The studio's goal was to seek new talents and ideas from eastern Quebec. Ubisoft took opportunity of investments made into the expanding technological sector St-Roch by Quebec City.
