The Universal Monsters Cinematic Universe (UMCU)[citation needed] is a shared fictional universe that is the setting of various horror films tied to the Universal Monsters franchise, and are developed and distributed by Universal Studios during the 1930s and 1940s.

Original franchise (1931–1948)

The original films that featured since 1931 to 1948 feature Count Dracula, Frankenstein's monster and the Wolf Man in the same fictional universe. The first crossover film was Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man, which feature the Monster and the Wolf Man in the same universe. More crossovers were featured in House of Frankenstein, House of Dracula, and Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein.
