Haiti is preside with the republic.it is a country located on the island of Hispaniola in the Greater Antilles archipelago of the Caribbean Sea.İts a island state.
Haiti is 27,750 square kilometers in size, the third largest country in the Caribbean by area,and has an population of 11.4 million.İt the most populous country in the Caribbean.İts capital is Port-au-Prince.The island is inhabited by the Taíno people.Christopher Columbus discovered Haiti on December 6, 1492.When you go to the haiti maybe you see port au prince airport.İt airport is find in Capital of Haiti.
One of the poorest countries.Haiti declared independence in 1804.İt occupied throughout 20th century. İmpact was made several times in Haiti.

Tourism[edit]

The tourism in Haiti is undeveloped.İts has such as white sand beaches, mountainous scenery.In 2014, the country received 1,250,000 tourists.The Haitian Carnival has been one of the most popular carnivals in the Caribbean.The National Carnival follows the very popular Jacmel Carnival.

the Citadelle Laferrière, inscribed as a World Heritage site in 1982.The Citadelle Laferrière, is the largest fortress in the Americas,is located in northern Haiti.It was built between 1805 and 1820.Situated in the Northern Massif du Nord, in one of Haiti's National Parks.The Institute for the Protection of National Heritage has preserved 33 historical monuments.The anchor of Christopher Columbus's largest ship now rests in the Musée du Panthéon National Haïtien.

The most festive time of the year in Haiti is during Carnival in February.There is music, parade floats, and dancing and singing in the streets.

Haiti is famous for its creole cuisine, soup joumou,pate and banan peze.

The two official languages of Haiti are French and Haitian Creole. French is spoken by 42% of Haitians and It is spoken by all educated Haitians,and is used in the business sector

Caracol Industrial Park[edit]

On 21 October 2012, Michel Martelly,Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Richard Branson, Ben Stiller and Sean Penn inaugurated the 600 acres Caracol industrial park, the largest in the Caribbean. It cost 300 million dollars the project. This project very important for the haiti's economy.

Haitian Vodou[edit]

Haitian Vodou is an African religion that developed in Haiti between the 16th and 19th centuries. they play drumming,singing and dancing. They make amulets and charms and they wear them.They wear black and purple clothing, funeral frock coats, black veils and top hats.
