Kouros Shahmiri (Persian: ﻛﻮﺭﻭﺱ ﺷﺎﻫﻤﻴﺮﻯ), better known to the public as Kouros, is a popular and widely-known Iranian singer-songwriter.
Biography
[edit]Kouros graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston.[1] He then went on to join Andy and form a duo, called Andy & Kouros. They were first introduced to the public by Siavash Shams, a friend of Andy. Their first collaborated album, "Khastegary," was released in 1985. In 1992, Kouros split from Andy to pursue a solo career. He has since released 5 albums including the greatly successful album "Nassleman," and the recently released album "Afsaneh."[2]
