Choi Young-Jae (Hangul: 최영재[1]; born September 17, 1996), better known by his stage name Youngjae, is a South Korean singer, songwriter who made his debut in 2014 as a member of the South Korean boy group GOT7 under the record label JYP Entertainment. as a main vocalist of the group. As a composer, he goes by the name Ars'[2], which means "art" in Latin. He made solo appearance on TV show ‘King of Mask singer' in 2017 and appeared again on ’Immortal song’ in 2018.[3] Youngjae released his very first OST for SBS drama Wok of Love entitled 'At the Usual time' in May 2018.

Life and Career
[edit]He was born Mokpo city, Jeollanam-do, South Korea. His dream is to be a famous singer since a little young even if his father wanted him to have a secure job. He was cast by JYP Entertainment in 2013 and became trainee only 7 months before debuted as a main vocalist of GOT7. He spent his seven months of training focusing only on improving his dancing skills.
Youngjae got accepted into Seokyeong University's Department of Theater and Film in 2015 and moved to the Taekyung University's Modeling Department.
He has been fully active with GOT7.
