Moon Bin (Korean: 문빈), also known as Moonbin (문빈), (born on January 26, 1998), is the lead vocalist and main dancer of the South Korean boy group ASTRO under the label Fantagio.



Early Life

Moon Bin was born on January 26, 1998, in Cheongju, Chungbuk, South Korea.[3]

He attended Hanlim Multi Arts High School (Practical Music) and graduated in 2016.[4]

Career

Moon Bin debuted as a child actor and model in 2004. [5]

In 2006, he appeared in TVXQ's music video Balloons young U-Know Yunho, and in 2007 he appeared on SBS Star King with the same role.

Moon Bin was also a child model for commercials of Blue Dog, Soie, and Tiffany.

He played the role of young So Yi-jung in the KBS2 drama Boys Over Flowers in 2009.

In 2015, he appeared in the first episode with a cameo role in Perseverance Goo Haera.[6] That same year, he participated with the other members of his group in the Fantagio web-drama To Be Continued, starring as himself.


Astro debuted on February 23, 2016 with the mini album Spring Up.

In 2018, he collaborated on the song Language Test with Weki Meki's Ji Suyeon (지수연). [7]

Moonbin took on the role of Jung Oh-je in the JTBC Television Series At Eighteen[8] in 2019, and in the same year, he participated in the second season of The Ultimate Watchlist of Latest Trends along with Oh My Girl's JiHo and others.[9]

In November 2019, Moonbin went on hiatus because of health concerns. [10]
