Ben Ford is an American celebrity chef, restaurateur and cookbook author. He studied under and worked with notable chefs including Marc Peel, Nancy Silverton, Eberhardt Muller, Diane Wegner, Alice Waters, Paul Bertolli, David Tannis, Serge Felastich and Julia Child.

Ben Ford was born in Los Angeles, California, in 1966, the first son of Mary Marquardt and Harrison Ford.

Awards and honors[edit]
Ford has received numerous awards, including three stars from the Los Angeles Times and four stars from Angelino Magazine and "Top 50 Restaurants in The World" from Conde Nast (for "Chadwick"). Ford has won the Food Network Challenge (2007) and Cochon 555 (2012). He was chosen by the US Department of State to be a Culinary Ambassador with the American Chefs Corps (2013 to 2017) and in that capacity traveled to Turkey, Hong Kong, Kazachstan, etc. representing the United States and preparing dinners at US embassies and consulates. In 2015 he was nominated ARP [what is this ?] Best Chef Driven Restaurant Concept for "Ford's Filling Station."

He has made several public appearances as well as appearing on numerous tv and radio food shows and morning and daytime network shows, including multiple appearances on Martha Stewart Living, Canada AM, The View, The Talk, The Today Show, as well as appearing on Iron Chef America ("Ford vs Flay"), After Hours with Daniel Boulud ("Ford's Filling Station"), and Andrew Zimmern's Bizarre Foods ("Los Angeles").
