Olivia Zaleski is an American television news anchor, reporter and interviewer focused on issues surrounding business, clean technology, green energy and corporate social responsibility.

Education

Zaleski attended Trinity High School and The Mountain School of Milton Academy.[citation needed] She graduated with awards from Dartmouth College[1][2] where she also took graduate courses in Business and Entrepreneurship at The Dartmouth Tuck School of Business[3][4].

Career

Television Host & Correspondent

In 2008, Olivia Zaleski was a host, correspondent, and co-producer of CNN Money[5] and Fortune Magazine's Emmy-nominated series[6], "Business of Green." Zaleski covered clean tech, new energy innovation and chronicled corporate America's recession-related efforts to save money through waste and efficiency upgrades. She has conducted interviews with business leaders, including Bill Ford and George Soros[7]. Zaleski’s series on Nuclear Energy in America and Green Tech in China was featured on MarketWatch[citation needed].

Zaleski has appeared as a green lifestyle expert and host of Money Magazine's DIY series, "Home Work,”[8] and a guest expert on ABC’s "Good Morning America Now.”[9]

Zaleski's content can be found on Discovery Channel’s TreehuggerTV[10], PlumTV[11], the CW Network[12], and The Daily Buzz[13]. Her written commentary can be found on Discovery’s Treehugger.com[14]; Hearst Corporation’s The Daily Green[15] and Marie Claire[16]; and The Huffington Post[17], where she helped launch The Huffington Post Green under Lifestyle Editor, Willow Bay.[18][19]

Zaleski is currently a partner at new media production company Found Object Media, a subset of Found Object Films, specializing in digital media content about social and environmental issues[20].

Awards

Fast Company Magazine has recognized Zaleski as "one of the strongest voices on the green economy.”[21] The Ethisphere Institute named Zaleski one of the “100 Most Influential People in Business Ethics.”[22] In November 2010, Zaleski was named a "top green Tweeter" by Social Media Influence's Social Media Sustainability Index.[23]

In 2006, Zaleski won runner-up in the Dartmouth Entrepreneurship Competition sponsored by the Club of Dartmouth Entrepreneurs and The Dartmouth Tuck School of Business.[24]
