Derron Stephen Borders (pronounced /'dɛərˌɨn 'stiˌv ən 'bɔrˌdərz/; born March 19, 1984) is an American linguist, self-proclaimed Glossophile, and creator, owner and webmaster of www.TheGlossophile.com. Born and raised in Ohio, he attended The Ohio State University and graduated Cum Laude in June of 2008 with two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Linguistics and French. He became a Francophone while living in Belgium for one year as a Rotary Exchange Student. He currently teaches English to elementary aged school children in the cities of Dax and Saint-Paul-lès-Dax, in the South West of France.
