ReportLinker is a search engine operated by Ubiquick, a market intelligence solution provider based in Lyon, France. The search engine was created in February 2007 by Benjamin Carpano and Nicolas Bombourg, French entrepreneurs. ReportLinker was created in February 2007 by Benjamin Carpano and Nicolas Bombourg, respectively CEO and Managing director of ReportLinker [2] Two key members joined the company as it expanded: Julien Goncalves took charge of the research & development department and Karim Cadi became Vice president of technology. As a result of its growth, the number of employees rose to 50. From 2010 to 2012, the company was recognized by Deloitte as one of the fastest growing companies in the industry.[3][4][5] ReportLinker was also named finalist for “Best Content Aggregation Service” at the Siia's 2012 Codie Awards.[6]

Reportlinker is a specialty search engine that focuses on economic and industry statistics. It uses semantic Web technology to search, index, and aggregate data and PDF documents from thousands of trusted public and private sources including government agencies, international organizations, consultancies and industry associations. Then, it turns this data into structured knowledge displayed in millions of analyzed reports for clients to get useful industry insights.[7] This data is in the form of industry overviews, key players' profiles, market drivers, industry statistics with tables, figures and data sets.[8] The users of ReportLinker are heavy data users from the banking, insurance, consumer goods, life science, and telecommunications industries. These users include consultants, lawyers, marketing and sales professionals. The company also offers ReportLinker Insight, a page that displays proper surveys about industry and social trends.[9][10][11]
