I've been following your work on this article for some weeks (and your YouTube videos), and am quite impressed with how this article has improved. I would caution you, however, to avoid slanting it to the POV you may have developed as a result of the tremendous personal effort you have expended experimenting with Newman motors. While I can't point to anything specific, bias is apparent when reading the current version versus an older version before you got involved. The article leaves a reader with the distinct impression that Newman has been treated unfairly - a point of view shared only by Newman and his supporters. An encyclopedia article shouldn't lead the reader that way. I suspect that the AfD nominator got the same impression.
Suggestions I can see for improvements:
  • The lead (and possibly the History of invention section) should note two important facts: (a) in spite of many experiments, nobody has yet demonstrated Newman's mass-conversion claims, and (b) nobody has yet published hard data clearly demonstrating that the energy output exceeds the input.
  • Description and operation section needs some statements about where the output energy comes from, and why there may be no published data on it (assuming sources can be found). Especially useful would be an explanation why it isn't simple to harness the output energy to connect back to the input.
  • The gyroscopic particles explanation is highly unbalanced, describing a crackpot theory with no counter-arguments. You did a good job phrasing everything neutrally, but the section sorely lacks critique of Newman's theory from notable sources in the science community or media.
If you provide more balance, I don't think anyone would have justification for proposing it for deletion. -Amatulic (talk) 19:09, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

Another editor has added the {{prod}} template to the article Raëlian beliefs and practices, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Proposed deletion of Multiverse (religion)

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Multiverse (religion), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Duplicates Multiverse#Multiverse hypotheses in religion and spirituality

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Scalar field theory (pseudoscience). We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Scalar field theory (pseudoscience). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:05, 22 February 2010 (UTC)

Template:Mass-Energy transference machine has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for discussion page. Thank you. Chris Cunningham (not at work) - talk 08:07, 13 April 2010 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on File:Human Cycle DNA.gif requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Removing Speedy at Nayah

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Nayah, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, then you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion notice, which will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 12:31, 5 May 2011 (UTC)
