Phanatwanan Kaimart[1] (Thai: ภณวัชร์นันท์ ไกรมาตย์; born 15 September 1964), is a Thai businessman who invented "Fire Extinguishing Ball" (later called “ELIDE FIRE Fire Extinguishing Ball”). This new technology was developed to solve the problems of traditional fire extinguishers and surveillance the risk point and will activate when exposed to flame. This allows the first eyewitness to extinguish the fire without worrying about the dangers of flame or heat radiation, even if no one was on the scene when the fire broke out.
Background
[edit]Phanatwanan Kaimart was born on Tuesday, September 15, 1964 at Khao Chai Rat, Bang Saphan Noi, Prachuap Khiri Khan. Father's name is Boonnam Kaimart, and mother's name is Pratuang Kaimart. His former name was Woradech, later changed to Phanawatnan Kaimart, being the second child among a total of 6 children.
Education
[edit]He studied elementary school grades 1 - 4 at Wat Nong Ra wang School, Ban Krut, Prachuap Khiri Khan and moved to study in grade 5 at Ban Chai Rat School Prachuap Khiri Khan. Later, his parents died in the same accident (his father and mother had an accident and died at the same time on December 22, 1978 when he is only 14 years old) therefore he traveled to Bangkok and working in a Lan Tei restaurant at the Chao Phaya River and went on to study elementary school 6 at Sirisart Wittayalai School, Dusit District, Bangkok. When he reached the age of military enlistment, he returned to his birthplace and picked up a red card in conscription and had to go to Royal Thai Navy. After the initial military training, he took a separate exam to go to the Naval Transportation Department of the Royal Thai Navy and have the opportunity to learn the working of four-stroke engine. Upon completion of the Naval Transport Department course, he continued his service until receiving the rank of Petty officer 1st class (PO1) at the Naval Transportation Department and had the opportunity to continue studying grade 7- grade 9 until graduation from secondary school (1988 - 1990) and studying (GED) grade 12 at Prathomtaweethapisek. (Evening Semester), Bangkok Yai, Bangkok. He graduated with a bachelor's degree of public administration from Faculty of Political Science, Ramkhamhaeng University (1990 - 1993) and a master's degree of Politic and Governance from Faculty of Political Science, Thammasat University (2010 - 2011)
Working Life
[edit]When he doing government work to the saturation point. He has decided to resign and challenge his potential by coming to work at Fujitsu General (Thailand) Co., Ltd. by receiving the position of professional occupational health safety officer. He passed the training and examination to become a professional occupational health and safety officer of the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare, Ministry of Labor. He raised the safety level from not ranked to rank 5th in Thailand in a row until the governor of Chonburi province foreseen his ability and therefore has been appointed him as a director of the Safety Center.

Invention of Fire Extinguishing Ball (Fire Extinguishing Ball)

While he working as a professional occupational health safety officer in Fujitsu General (Thailand) Co., Ltd., there was a tragic fire incident at the Royal Jomtien Hotel (Pattaya)[2] at Bang Lamung, Chonburi on July 11, 1997, with 90 deaths. The fire spread from the 2nd floor to the 15th floor. When the fire engines arrived, they were still unable to handle the fire because they had to wait for the Department of Electricity to cut off the electricity first. The fire spread through the rooms, those who still have conscious are waving for help from inside the building. Everyone who was there wanted to help but they couldn't. This situation creates a very depressing feeling for those who witnessed the event at that time. He viewed the basic firefighting equipment used to extinguish the fire as a problem in extinguishing the fire. In addition, the existing fire extinguishers are heavy and suitable for firefighters, not ordinary civilians. From the aforementioned problems, if there is a fire extinguishing device that can work automatically or when fighting a fire, it can be tossed or thrown into the fire to extinguish the fire. So he invented the Fire Extinguishing Ball to extinguish the initial fire and installed it in the risky area to reduce loss of life and property. The ball can surveillance the fire automatically 24 hours a day and if encounters a fire, it can be tossed or immediately thrown into the fire. He resigned from Fujitsu General (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and used his efforts, perseverance, and patience to invent and develop this invention into a commercial, by starting to register the company in 2000 as a project to develop the invention into a commercial Under the name of Siam Safety Premier Co., Ltd., and has used a market introduction strategy, which is the time when new products are introduced to the market for the first time to let the consumers get to know and want to try them. And entered the world market in 2009, In present, Siam Safety Premier Co., Ltd. changed its name to Elide Fireball Pro Co., Ltd. on June 25, 2012, by producing automatic fire extinguishing balls under the trademark Elide Fire (Fire Extinguishing Ball). The current Fire Extinguishing Ball has been renamed to "Automatic Fire Fighting Ball" and has product standards as TIS.3413 -2565 for indoor and outdoor use from the Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI).
