League matches played[edit]

The team started the season well winning 5 of their first 6 matches, but as the season progressed several players became injured, Zubieta left, and due to the small size of the squad their results worsened.[4][5]

Match Barcelona vs BC 6/1/13

On 22 November 1916 the Cantabrian teams left the Northern Federation, joining the newly formed Cantabrian Federation (Federación Cantábrica de Clubes de Football), which encompassed Asturian and Cantabrian clubs.

In 1918 teams from Gipuzkoa left the federation to form their own one.[22] This was because team North was dominated by players from Biscay, and the Gipuzcoan clubs wanted their players to be able to play in the federation championship.

In 1919 the Asturians decided to form their own federation (Federación Regional Asturiana de Clubes de Fútbol) so the Cantabrian teams rejoined 'Norte', but now it only had teams from Cantabria and Biscay.

Federation North came to an end on 13 August 1922 when its name was changed to the Federation of Biscay.[23][24] Shortly afterwards the Cantabrian teams left the federation and formed their own Cantabrian Federation.[25]
