Threshold Animation Studios makes family oriented computer generated animated films, television and location based entertainment, largely based on some of the biggest brands in the world, including STAR WARS, LEGO, MARVEL and STAR TREK.

Through a unique technology alliance with IBM, Threshold built one of the most advanced digital production facilities in the world. The companies jointly developed new technologies that help it improve the animation process, reduce the cost of production, and provide more creative control to both its directors and performers.

Threshold Animation Studio has produced several CGI family projects in the last few years, some of which include:

LEGO STAR WARS – TV special for Cartoon Network MARVEL SUPERHEROES 4D - The first time most of the Marvel characters have been together in 3D – well,, 4D – for Madame Tussaud’s in London. DC COMICS JUSTICE LEAGUE - Theme park film; still in production. LEGO THE ADVENTURES OF CLUTCH POWERS: This is the first ever feature length film based on one of the world’s most popular, successful and well know toy brands, LEGO. The film was released by Universal in the spring of 2010. BIONICLE: THE LEGEND REBORN: This action adventure kids film based on the popular toy was released on home video by Universal in September 2009. HERO FACTORY RISE OF THE ROOKIES: This feature movie based on the new hot LEGO toy premiered on Nickelodeon and was then released on DVD by Warner Home Video. STAR TREK 4D – Theme park film for the Las Vegas Hilton ARMEGEDDON – Theme park film for Walt Disney World Paris MISSION: SPACE – Theme Park film for Walt Disney World’s Epcot Resort LEGO: ATLANTIS – TV special for Nickelodeon THE AFTERLIFE – Prime Time animated comedy pilot for the Fox Network BOB THE BUILDER 4-D – Theme park film for Legoland.
