Personal & Family life
[edit]He is a son of Freedom Fighter and his fathers name Sheikh Muhammad Muslim & Mothers name Sheikh Jahanara Parvin. His father Muhammad Muslim was a freedom fighter at 1971 in Bangladesh liberation war. He is a blood of his Descendents Of sheikh family where his grand grand grand fathers was 18 brother with a big royal family in Dhaka. now all around this family spread with over 300 members along in Dhaka.
Music & Band
[edit]Tanvir Ahmed was born in Dhaka. He started his music career from that place with the band "Horoscop" in 2001. During 2002 to 2004, he was a member of Band "Bastille" as lead Vocal & Guitar. In 2006 he worked with "Preceptor" as a Vocal. He formed his own band titled Generation X. Generation X released its first Mixed album Name ........... by Live Records. The type was rock based. Here the first international Song released Name "Let Me Know" . The band Generation X basically convey the message for righteousness, Humanity, truth Global causes. Even though he started out as a Rock musician he eventually branched out to the more mainstream music of Bangladesh. His first unrealesed international War awareness songs are Palestine & Baghdad. Tanvir Ahmed write Lyrics & compose his own songs. Generation X record the songs in their own music recording studio name "Apple Wave". The Band Perform numbers of Concerts around the Bangladesh. Specially they are most recognized in cyber music lover of eastern & western world."Generation X" Short form "GX" draw inspirations from many other rock bands like Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Iron Maiden,Metallica, Guns N'Roses, Skid Row,A.R Rahman Etc.[citation needed] He is generally seen with Jackson and ESP guitars, though he prefers Fender also. His another famous song is Ichey Korse, Vule Jao, Ahoban, Tirtho Shomoy etc
Letreture & Poems
[edit]At the time of school Tanvir Ahmed used to writing.At beginning he wrote poem. When he was in college when he was out of home at his Aunts house at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) he wrote a book "Ulloshito Chitto " which is his first book of poem published at Ekushey Boi Mela,2001. A famous poem name "Durmod Nobin" was written in this book. He writes like an old poetry style with rhythm and thematic. Beside poems Tanvir Ahmed write novels, thesis, short story, song lyrics etc. He used too to writes folk poems called as "Puthi". Tanvir Ahmed writes in Bangla & English both language. I am just waiting for the last train Some answer I have gotten and some question still in my brain Busy City but the platform is old It seems like all human minds long time ago was sold Walking beside the rail line and searching for a bench Trying to see the train and how much is distance An old man playing pen flute with his little child Suddenly I found a dog beside a wooden bench but he is blind Illusion of evening holds me up like a division bell I just got the smoke of train and the sadly whistle Slowly the train just arrived in platform but no one get out down The old man with child and blind dog get into by playing sound I see outside through glassless window and found an answer in my brain I didn't buy the ticket but it was with me from my birth,the ticket of last train.
