Alli Michelle Simpson (born 24 April 1998)[1]is an Australian singer, TV host, model and actress from Gold Coast, Queensland. She is the younger sister of singer-songwriter Cody Simpson.

Early Life[edit]

Alli Michelle Simpson was born on April 24, 1998 in Gold Coast, Queensland to parents Angie and Brad Simpson.[2][3] She has two siblings; an older brother Cody, with whom she is very close with[4][5], and a younger brother Tom. Simpson was a competitive swimmer before moving to Los Angeles with her family for her brother's career.[6]

Career[edit]

Alli is a brand ambassador for Pastry Shoes, a shoeline that was originally started by sisters Angela and Vanessa Simmons.[7] She appeared in the 2012 film '12 Dogs of Christmas: Great Puppy Rescue' with Sean Patrick Flanery playing the role of Alli.[8] Alli appeared in Awesomeness TV's IMO Girls YouTube episodes and "Punk'd" in 2013.[9] Simpson's singing career is managed by Scooter Braun, who also manages Canadian singer Justin Bieber.[10] She recorded her first song "Why I'm Single" and released the music video on June 11, 2013.[11] Her second song "Notice Me" was released in November 2013 and earned over 8 million views on YouTube.[12][13] Simpson's third single "Guilty" was released on May 27, 2014.[14] Alli landed her own show with Radio Disney, 'The Alli Simpson Show', in January 2015.[15] Her show has made her the youngest nationally syndicated radio host ever; it focuses on the lastest news, celebrity gossip, and advice on the topics of fashion, beauty, and school.[16] She modeled for Mudd, alongside Vine sensation Jack&Jack.[17] Simpson is a brand ambassador for the imPRESS Press-on Manicure nail line by Broadway Nails.[18][19]In May 2015, she collaborated with Cover Girl for her acapella version of Zedd and Selena Gomez's "I Want You To Know".

Personal Life[edit]

Her hobbies include surfing, shopping, excercising, going to the beach, dancing, listening to music, and styling.[20] She also enjoys hanging out with her friends, including actress and model Madison Pettis, with whom she models for Pastry Shoes with.[21] Alli has her own YouTube channel, Alli Simpson Official, where she posts covers of songs, interviews, monthly favorites, fitness workouts, and health and beauty torturials.[22] Simpson lives in Los Angeles with her family.[23]
