Hi! My name is Quinton Quagliano, and I started editing on Wikipedia through the Wiki Education program, in February 2021. I was a student at Calvin University in Grand Rapids, MI, where I completed my B.S. in Psychology (neuroscience concentration). I am currently a psychometrist at Trinity Health West Michigan. I plan on pursing a PhD in Clinical Psychology/Science in the future.

I have interests in Clinical Psychology, Neuropsychology, Psychiatry, Social Psychology, Philosophy, Data Science, and Public Policy. Specifically, I have research interests in neuroimaging, traumatic brain injury (TBI), neuropsychological assessment, research methodology, statistics in psychology, and mental health public policy. I care deeply about science reform (open science movement), ethics in research, and reducing bias/discrimination towards under-represented minorities in science. I am likely to contribute to Wikipedia articles on or related to the topics above.

My initial work with Wiki Education Scholars & Scientists Program was sponsored by the Association for Psychological Science (APS), which allowed me to have a seat in the course. I was a student affiliate of the American Psychological Association (APA), Association for Psychological Science, Society for Clinical Psychology (APA Division 12), and Society for Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology (SCCAP; APA Division 53). I was also a volunteer Campus Representative for both the American Psychological Association and the Association for Psychological Science. I also volunteered on the SCCAP Student Social Media Committee.

I was formerly employed as a Psychiatry Technician and Psychometrist Intern by Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services and served as an unpaid Intern in Neuropsychology at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital, both in Grand Rapids, MI. My former affiliations are as follows: The Fountain Hill Center for Counseling and Consultation (Grand Rapids, MI), Exalta Health (Grand Rapids, MI), Unmasked App (Grand Rapids, MI) and Mariano's grocery stores (Naperville, IL). I am an alumni of Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville, IL.

Conflict of Interest Statement[edit]

I am not paid, compensated, or otherwise incentivized to contribute to Wikipedia. None of the organizations, schools, or companies mentioned above provide any incentives to edit Wikipedia articles. To the best of my abilities, now or in the future, I plan to avoid editing any article of an organization or person that I am associated with personally. Additionally, I do not intend to contribute to any article on a organization or person that I plan to associate with in the future. The only exception is that I might edit a person's page that might happen to be associated with the same organization that I associate with (example: I edit a person's page that is also a member of the APA). Any edits that violates these rules I have set for myself are likely coincidental and accidental. Please alert me if you find my possible conflicts of interest on an article problematic.

This page, my comments made on talk pages, and any edits are made with the intention of being transparent and made-in-good-faith. If you have have concerns about my motivations, please refer to this page for information that might prevent me from being objective.
