Sarah McKinley[edit]
I am a student of the University of Hull, Scarborough Campus studying for a degree in Design for Digital Media. I am due to graduate in the coming July, and am currently enjoying working hard to complete my degree.
My reasons for joining Wikipedia[edit]
I will be creating my own page, editing or adding information to a page that already exists on Wikipedia. I have created this account in order to complete a University assignment for the module Psychology of Internet behaviour. I will be presenting my work towards the end of March, and so have until then to complete my task. I will be doing this work with another 4 members of the class, and focussing on a certain topic that is yet to be assigned.
My Group[edit]
There are five members of my group including myself, and we have chosen to edit the page Internet Addiction Disorder The members of my group include User:ClaraRoper User:TomLee91 User:Amosjfrancis User:JLM003
We have allocated different topics to each group member in order to edit the page effectively as a group. We will look at going into more detail in regards to the categories under Internet Addiction Disorder. It was my responsibility to add a small section on whether or not Internet Addiction is actually a disorder, and a look at one of the causes of this so called disorder- 'Net Compulsions'.
