Abriel is a Pop/Deathcore band from San Francisco, California that was formed in late 2008. They mix the sounds of European Death Metal, American MetalCore, and mainstream Pop Rock.

Overview[edit]

As a determined five piece based out of San Francisco, built of all equally talented musicians, Abriel has yet to come to a challenge that they can't overcome. Formed in late 2008, the band has already headlined a summer tour across the West Coast, which caught the attention of many and earned them a spot on the 2009 Vans Warped Tour. Abriel has had the privilege of playing with such talented bands like All Shall Perish, Underoath, In This Moment, The Devil Wears Prada, A Day To Remember, Aiden, VersaEmerge, 3OH3, Cobra Starship, and has also been asked to join shows with talented bands such as Eyes Set To Kill, From First To Last, Sugarcult, Abigail Williams, I Am Ghost, and many more.

For anyone that is lucky enough to catch a Abriel show, it is soon to be one their most enjoyable concert experiences. With a beautiful mix of speed, mystique, and all out strobe madness. Abriel has become a highly skilled and well oiled machine. It doesn't matter what type of music you listen to, when you see Abriel live, you can't deny the musicianship and dedication put into every song and performance.

The band has been asked to record with producer Zac Diebels (Deftones, Third Eye Blind, Death Cab For Cutie), but instead chose up and coming producer Max Karon. The album is slated for an early 2010 release, and will feature the hit songs that got them where they are now. The band plans to hit the road again during the release of their album, where they will be setting off once again across America to release their fury of metal/death/break/dance-core...
