Aluminum storage

A system whereby physical aluminum is stored and shuffled between Detroit warehouses by a Goldman subsidiary, adding a estimated $5Bn to the cost of the commodity over three years for consumers – “a merry-go-round of metal" per a former warehouse employee – was detailed by the NYTimes here and noted here in July 2013.
