Syler,[1] born Scott Seiler, is an American writer/producer/recording artist from New York City. His influences include Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, Michael Jackson, and Billy Joel to name a few. He was also influenced by the Hip Hop that was being created in the mid to late 1990's, listening to the likes of The Notorious B.I.G., Tupac, Nas, Jay-Z, and Eminem.

Syler released his most recent album, entitled Labours of Lost Love on Valentine's Day 2012. Aside from now handling the bulk of his own production, as well as writing/recording a number of commercial jingles including a 2011 Kid's Foot Locker commercial[2] and a 2008 nationally televised Campbell's Soup commercial, he has been featured in New York based newspaper, Newsday, by music critic Glenn Gamboa.[3][4] His most recent project includes, amongst others, All For Leyna,[5] which Glenn Gamboa described as "(Syler's) version of the Billy Joel chestnut, that is fresh enough to spin on hip-hop radio right now.",[3] Down Before (which has recently appeared on DJ Green Lantern's latest mixtape, "Overtime Grind Pt.2").,[6] and a remake of Queen's Fat Bottomed Girls. He has also worked with a number of producers including Tone Mason (Drake, Game, Busta Rhymes), Greg Bruno, & Davy Deluge (Jennifer Lopez, Fat Joe).
