Jurassic Park IV

Four editors agreed to merge the film article to the franchise article. See discussion here. —Erik (talkcontrib) - 18:00, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

Okay, I understand the merger, there is not enough information. --EclipseSSD 18:29, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Police Academy 8.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. F13 in 2009

I saw that you edited Friday the 13th (2009), so I wanted to let you know that per notability guidelines for films, the article's existence is not yet warranted. It doesn't use the correct naming conventions, either, so there's no reason to keep it. I'd suggest putting relevant content of this future film in Friday the 13th (franchise)#Future if it doesn't exist there already. —Erik (talkcontrib) - 19:19, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Futurama: The Beast With a Million Backs

I moved the page from "Beast with a Billion Backs" to "Beast with a Million Backs" because the source citing the title of the film says that's what the title is. If you have any official sources that say it's the other way, I would suggest citing it in the article to prevent any further confusion. vDub 05:39, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Abe Simpson.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Abe Simpson.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 15:22, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Vince McMahon Sr.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Vince McMahon Sr.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Additionally, if you continue uploading bad images, you may be blocked from uploading. STBotI 13:08, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

Redirect of Creepshow (2008)

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Creepshow (2008), by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Creepshow (2008) is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Creepshow (2008), please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Fair use rationale for Image:Police_Academy_8.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Police_Academy_8.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

Thank you. Rettetast 16:38, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

Near future in film

Are announced release dates when the project hasn't even begun production really that valid? It's hardly a guarantee that the film will be completed, or even started, by that time. —Erik (talkcontrib) - 18:03, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

Image:Abe_Simpson.jpg

I have tagged Image:Abe_Simpson.jpg as {{orphaned fairuse}}. In order for the image to be kept at Wikipedia, it must be included in at least one article. If this image is being used as a link target instead of displayed inline, please add {{not orphan}} to the image description page to prevent it being accidentally marked as orphaned again. –Dream out loud (talk) 04:02, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:The Day After.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:The Day After.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 07:21, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

Types of Articles

I'm happy that I can finally talk to you … you know we're civilized people … I didn't change Driver: working title or Driver 5 into Driver 4, I'll leave it at Driver: Working Title ( I agree with this ), everything I changed is that the Driver 4 page doesn't redirect to the DPL article anymore, that's all. Do you know who is Gareth Edmondson ? It's the guy who created Driver with his brother Martin. And HE said in a video interview that DPL is not Driver 4, you can't change anything on that, if the developper decides it, you can't change it. You can decide if it's true or not if you proove me that you're Gareth or Martin Edmondson, but the chances are 1 to 1 billion.

I thought that if Drivermadness can put it's link there i can do it too. My Site doesn't tell anything about the next Driver yet so you can't just say that it doesn't; there's nothing there yet.

I don't want to mess with you any longer, so leave don't redirect the Driver 4 page to the DPL article and don't touch my link, otherwise I'll continue like that all the time. I have time you know … RƎVS - http://www.driver-4.com | DRIVER 4 (talk)

--> Link to 1UP video interview with Gareth Edmondson works now RƎVS - http://www.driver-4.com | DRIVER 4 (talk) 20:02, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

Okay, I see now. Thanks for the link. I see what Mr. Edmonson means. This stupid title business,we'll just have to wait and see. It will still be a good game, doesn't matter what the title D4 or D5. Who cares? I'll probably get a PS3 for that game alone.--EclipseSSD (talk) 12:30, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

Yeh me too =) RƎVS - http://www.driver-4.com | DRIVER 4 (talk) 18:36, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
