Möllevången is a neighbourhood of Malmö, situated in the Borough of Södra Innerstaden, Malmö Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden. As of 2008 it had 9989 inhabitants and covers an area of 53 hectares. Möllevången is the eldest part of malmo and has a lot of the södra innerstaden history. The södra innerstaden and möllevången is still very similar to how it was before, stores, entertainment, work places and apartments to live in. Many young active teenagers live in möllevången and it’s also the birthplace of the Swedish actor “Nils Poppe”. Very close to möllevångstorget, just outside of möllevången, there was a former chocolate factory, mazetti. It was established and created in the late 1800s by a Danish person called “nissen”. Although the factory eventually got sold in 1997 it still remains as hotel apartments. Apart from all the history and all the political youngsters living there, möllevången is also famous for it’s relatively cheap food during daytime, which during evening and night transforms into a very popular place for people to eat and drink alcohol. It has quite a few exotic restaurants around that area and a lot of small stores that are open quite late during summertime.
