About Me

I was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, USA. I now live in Dublin, Ireland. I am interested in helping to perpetuate a wikipedia that is less stereotypical and does not rely so much on out-dated clichés. As we move forward into a more technologically advanced global society, it will become increasingly more crucial to lay down old preconceptions. There is certainly a difference between recording historical facts in an unbiased manner through neutral language, rather than perpetuating old prejudices by the use of offensive words or attitudes. I would like my contributions on wikipedia to reflect a mindset that treats every person as a unique individual, rather than just a handful of labels or a member of a subset of groups.
