Dhirendra Singh Raghav, (born on 13 September 1982) in Jaipur, Rajasthan is a social worker and the president of FORTI Federation of Rajasthan Trade & Industry, Rajasthan, state of India. He runs the social work activity under the aegis of the Anand Foundation. He’s also working as a promoter of JD Group His foundation has helped in developing Pratap Gaurav Smarak in Udaipur. The cultural heritage is called Rashtriya Tirth. He, along with others, has identified more than 100 EWS girls in Karauli, district of Rajasthan and got them married.

He takes up issues of women empowerment, and so far, the initiative has aided in settling the lives of more than 500 girls. Film actors like Dimple Kapadia, Late Sri Devi, Jaya Prada, Mahima Chaudhary, Aditya Pancholi and others have been a part of the initiative. Late Shri Amar Singh (politician) had also supported it.

Dhirendra Singh Raghav was born in the small town of Rajasthan on 13 September 1982.

Education

He is a post-graduate and has done Hotel Management.

Career

He started the JD Group in 2012 and since then the group is spread over multiple sectors, including Hotel Industry, Real Estate and Finance. It also indulges in the distribution of FMCG products, primarily food items.

SOCIAL WORK/ACTIVITY–ANAND FOUNDATION:

I firmly believe that it’s the SOCIETY that makes us what we are and if blessed with an adequate potential and capacity, one should always pay back to the society in whatsoever big or small way. Towards prevention of our cultural heritage, I contributed a modest amount of 51 Lakhs to PRATAP GAURAV SMARAK, Udaipur being developed as Rashtriya Tirth by Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh.

As a part of my social duty, since last 5 years I have been able to contribute for organizing of marriage of 100 identified girls from EWS category from the district of Karauli. Till date an approximate 500 young girls have been able to settle their life from this initiative. Various celebrities as Film Stars Jaya Prada, Dimple Kapadia, Mahima Choudhary, Lt. Sridevi & Aditya Pacholi have endorsed the cause by being present at the ceremony. The initiative has been appreciated by Shri Amar Singh Ji, ex Member of Parliament who graced two such events.

We designed a special program for motivating & orienting the Youth from the districts of Dausa, Karauli, Dholpur, Sawai Madhopur & Bharatpur towards SELF EMPLOYMENT. The program was aptly coined as SKILL DEVELOPMENT AWARENESS PROGRAM

Total Sanitation Campaign – With an aim to create awareness about Swachhata, we designed and executed a program creating awareness about the means and benefit in developing a habit of CLEANLINESS in the society.

President,FORTI Youth Wing Rajasthan:

FORTI is an apex body representing the trade and industries of Rajasthan and I have been an executive member of the federation from past three years. As a parallel responsibility, I have been made PRESIDENT of its YOUTH WING wherein we have set a target to bring nearly 200 YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS from across the state of RAJASTHAN under a single umbrella to foster newer business and social initiatives. Within a span of 4 months of taking up the responsibility, some of the key initiatives taken are as follows: An American Delegation for Economic Affairs from US Embassy headed by Pete Broadbent conducted a meeting with us to discuss about the business opportunities in the state of Rajasthan.

A Business Delegation from CHINA interacted with the FORTI Members to discuss the business possibilities that could be fostered between the entrepreneurs of Rajasthan and that of CHINA.

An interactive session was organized by Dr Sunil Dand, a lead practitioner on Diabetes along with film star GOVINDA to share the insights about Diabetes and how the YOUTH can prevent themselves from this disorder.

A delegation from our wing met Smt. Pratibha Patil, Ex President, Govt of India to discuss about the economic state of INDIA and how as YOITH can we contribute to improve the business ecosystem.

Hotel/Resort Development& Management:

Starting from 2012, the group has invested nearly 30 Crores in acquiring and developing 5 hotel properties with collective 187 Rooms at Lonavala, Mahabaleshwar & Jaipur. The following are the properties: Cloud Mist Resort & Spa, Panchgani Basilica Holiday Home, Lonavala Hotel Lions Den, Lonavala Hotel Laxmi, Mahabaleshwar Hotel Four Boutique, Jaipur Club XSS, Jaipur Continuing the growth spree, the group has already identified following properties for expansion in the current calendar year of 2019: Ranthambore – 60 Rooms, an approx investment of 5 Crores Pushkar – 60 Rooms, an approx investment fo 8 Crores Shimla – 80 Rooms, an approx investment of 8 Crores Subsequently, over next 5 years, we intend to bring in properties at all the major tourist destinations of Rajasthan, Himachal & Uttarakhand and simultaneously develop footprints in business destinations of Mumbai & Delhi.

Real Estate–JD Infratech Pvt.Ltd:

JD Group ventured into Real Estate with one of its kind & state of the art commercial project at Neemrana, Rajasthan. The project aptly named as Shivaz Galleria is situated at the entrance of the ambitious Japanese Zone housing a large number of Japanese Companies. The project spans over 2.50 Lakh Sq Ft with brands like MARRIOTT, INOX, ICICI, HALDIRAM’s, RELIANCE, MEGA FOOD COURT etc. committing their presence to develop a unique destination.

Finance–JD Finvest Pvt Ltd:

No business is viable without an adequate financial liquidity, we at JD group aim to develop a platform which could serve the financial requirements of MSME and small business houses in a hassle free procedure. With an AUM of more than 300 Crores, JD Finvest is one of the leading facilitators of business loans to real estate developers, exporters, industrialists and traders in Rajasthan. We are in the process of launching a NBFC soon in Rajasthan. Our core team is also exploring the digital platforms of lending for small ticket size unsecured loans.

Finance–JD Finvest Pvt Ltd:

This division is into distribution of FMCG products primarily food items. The objective is to develop a distribution network which not only serves bigger cities but also have deep penetration in sub urban and rural markets of Northern India. Our sourcing model is directly from the manufacturer and we own the complete distribution chain right up to the retailer thereby ensuring quality and quantity commitments at each level. Currently we are the largest distributors of Saptrishi Foods, based at Rajasthan.
