Is the leading umbrella manufacturers in Chinawhich is established in 1984.It owns 6 subsidiary companies 2 holding companies and more than 5000 employees.Umbrella, raincoats and machine equipment are their main products.[1]As the biggest umbrella company, it produces over 100 million umbrellas, 10 million raincoats, 200 sets drill press each year in the 70,000 square meters of productions area.Thus,Its domestic market share places first in the same industry for 12 years as well as its output and sales.The group holds very professional and advanced technology such as integrated production line of umbrella automatic silkscreen etc which helps it gain a lot of awards.[2]

[edit]- Binzhang Wang（王斌章）:He was the predecessor of umbrella industry who was retired in 1984.However, he used his 2000 yuan cash to establish an umbrella factory in liuxia, Hangzhou.As a skilled artificer his production even attracted the visitors from Shanghai,and he always sticked to the quality of the umbrella.Thus, Paradise Umbrella Group Corp., Ltd. became one of the biggest umbrella manufacturing in China.[3]

[edit]Umbrella is also the represent of romance and traditional craftwork in Hangzhou which is a classical cultural city in China founded 2200 years ago. The technique of bamboo craft, which has a long history in Hangzhou.[4] “West Lake Silk Umbrella” is made by bamboo structure.Moreover, because in the classical love legendary “Lady White Snake”, she passed her love through an umbrella when she first met his husband in a rainy day at the West Lake,umbrella was regarded A token of love.[5] Thus, “Bamboo Words (Xizi)” is a great gift and masterpiece which combined the structure of traditional Chinese bamboo umbrella, bamboo-split craft and modern manufacture. It was Recognized with the iF product design award 2013 which is a excellent reputation, international renown.[4]

On March 28,2013 many students of Zhejiang University were gathering at the corridor of Zijin'gang Campus, Zhejiang University canteen. A lady worked at Hangzhou Paradise Umbrella Group Co. was repairing umbrellas for students for free.There were bunchs of broken laying at her table waiting for her services.[6]

[edit]The company has a screen printing base of 18,000 square meters,a manual bedplate of 2,400 meters and 72 automatic screen printing machines .It has 450 people including more than 10 technicians in charge of design, pre-production and film output, and 14 people in charge of plate-making and printing ink at present. It has a monthly productivity of more than 45 million pieces of printing umbrella surfaces. With thorough configuration, it is capable of completing product production at high efficiency and speed.
