First, the four were classmates in high school and even elementary school, but the group's roots began in 2018, when Ahmed khabous and Mohamed mijem decided to shoot a video in the woods titled ... Moustapha soussi was doing the same too, but alone and one of their friends had a role in The process of putting them together. Note the similarity of ideas between Ahmed khabous and Moustapha soussi and suggest that they meet and make some funny videos. The recorded videos were only circulated among friends on WhatsApp and were not posted on social media. And in the middle of 2018, the two started posting videos on social media and private photos, but they didn't get very popular. It was just for fun.

2019
[edit]

The three Matrixmen members continue to produce funny and mysterious short videos, especially Ahmed khabous and Moustapha soussi. They had very few followers, some of them even appeared in their funny clips. Until a fourth member who had not joined yet, his name was Redwan saib, suggested that he join them and suggested the idea of acting a video Au DD in the form of a parody and publish it. The video spread widely, but the video that turned the scales is a video about drugs, as the video dealt with the phenomenon of smoking among young people in a satirical and comic way, as it spread widely until Moustapha soussi, Ahmed khabous and Mohamed mijem became famous. . The video was very popular among Moroccans, especially on the Facebook platform. These young people are not accustomed to this rapid fame, so they archived their page on Facebook, because it was the reason for their rapid fame, and they stopped posting on Instagram because they did not want this sudden fame, but they came back at the end. They found out that making funny videos was the only thing they could do, so they came back with a video of Ahmed khabous and Moustapha soussi titled “لا للحسد عفاك” (I beg you do not envy me) explaining people's apparent envy for their fame. They also created a YouTube channel called MATRIXMEN TV and posted a parody of Billie Alish's Bad Guy (Billie Eilish song), and the whole neighborhood was involved in filming the video.

2020
[edit]

With the start of 2020, the team was well established and decided to focus on specific goals, especially since a close friend of them owns a Canon EOS 250D, and among them is a friend from Safi who is good at production so they decided to regularly post videos on Instagram, Facebook and even Tiktok and provide high-quality content on YouTube. Despite the arrival of COVID-19 and the curfew, bitterness did not prevent them from continuing. While everyone is in their home away from each other due to the quarantine, they decide to create an imaginary conflict between them over who has the right to the MATRIXMEN group's social media pages, they split into two groups and decided to break the conflict. Rap Beef and Winner Takes All. After curfew, they returned to work and appeared together, and they met in the garage of Ahmed khabous's family home, all that was required was a green screen and a camera, and the videos were handed over to the son of the city of Safi for the montage process. . Their slogan was every Wednesday a video and every Sunday a video. Among the group's most successful videos in 2020, videos Hena generation mashi 7ora on Instagram, Facebook and Drake God's Plan (song)-Cover on YouTube.

2021
[edit]

In 2021, they reduced the posting of funny videos on their social pages and became reticent about some things, especially stopping and not mentioning drugs because their fan base became too large. They publish most of their videos that are rare but very popular in Morocco, such as the short video Merda found on Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok. They dedicated their YouTube channel to podcasts and Sports analytics during the CAN before excluding Morocco and stopping sports analysis on the pretext that the group MATRIXMEN knew who would win the CAN in advance, and there was only a podcast.

MATRIXMEN group came up with a different style of comedy. It differs significantly from the mainstream comedies among Moroccans, the tragicomedies they present in their videos, sometimes blatantly critical of Moroccan society. Some of their fans always write in the comments that they did not understand anything from the content and accuse them of not thinking about the scenario of the video until they open the camera, especially fans and new followers on their pages, but quite the opposite. Each step is calculated and their ideas are ready with the text. Before filming anything, the Moroccan audience may not be familiar with this different type of comedy, but on the other hand, their audience and fans of MATRIXMEN are of a special kind, they are always energetic and interact with the content offered by the group. . . There is rarely widespread criticism or dislike of them or the content offered.
