I'm pleased to note that the result of the AfD was ''keep''. Common sense prevailed. However, the article still has room for improvement – it could do with improved, more encyclopedic substance and better third-party referencing. If you come across any material, please add it – I will do the same. I wondered if a short list of significant athletes (preferably people with articles about them in WP) who have written articles in the magazine (together with issue number and title of article) might be useful, but I don't have the resources to produce it – do you? Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

  • Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
  • Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
  • Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as: copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such unreasonable information or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism, and will result in your account being blocked.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!

Please stop introducing jokes into articles. Wikipedia is a serious encyclopedia, and contributions of this type are considered vandalism. Continuing to add jokes and other disruptive content into articles may lead to you being blocked from editing. - David Oberst 20:44, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Stack magazine

Hi Brainiack16. Thought I'd just drop by and say thanks for all your hard work on creating the new Stack magazine article. I made a few minor changes this morning, mainly to address the issue of primary references (I found a couple of good articles, including one on Reuters website). At the same time, I added some further information I found on those sites. You've done a good thing by starting this article :) Cheers -- Hebrides (talk) 07:45, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

November 2009

Please assume good faith in your dealings with other editors, which you did not on Talk:F-22 Raptor. Assume that they are here to improve rather than harm Wikipedia. Please note the brash tone of your messages on the aforementioned article page as it is bordering on uncivil and is considered to be rude, also note your unruly behavior on another editor's discussion page, that's not something very nice... knock it off~! • Didn't you just lecture me for arguing on an article and on the user's page at the sametime. And now you are doing just that!--Brainiack16 (talk) 17:30, 26 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 17:07, 26 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Test/Vandalism warning

Your addition to Yakovlev Yak-130 has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. BilCat (talk) 21:26, 26 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to blank out or delete portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to F-22 cockpit, you will be blocked from editing. This edit by you wasn't nice, knock it off~! Dave 1185 21:22, 27 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • There was no source that said the coating of iridium-tin gave the F-22's cockpit a gold color, so I justfully deleted it. Also please stop being so rude with your posts.--Brainiack16 (talk) 21:36, 27 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Stack magazine has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article about a not very notable magazine.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Dave 1185 04:38, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Stack magazine, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Stack magazine. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Dave 1185 01:52, 3 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

-Dave you are clearly doing this out of emotion, it's from the F-22 fights I've had ; I know. Please Dave there is no reason to delete the Stack magazine article. It has second party sources and it is a noable magazine (5 million view each issue). Please Dave I am sorry if I frustrated you. But please don't delete the article, there is no reason to do so. Also you should talk to User Hebrides (talk) he is a lot smarter than I, and did a lot to get this article on its feet. Thankyou --Brainiack16 (talk) 01:32, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
