Welcome!

[edit]
Greetings!! Some fresh Bangladeshi Pitha (Special cake) to welcome you!

Welcome to Wikipedia, আবদুল জলিল সিফাত! Thank you for your contributions. I am CAPTAIN RAJU and I have been editing Wikipedia for some time, so if you have any questions feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. You can also check out Wikipedia:Questions or place {{helpme}} on your talk page. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Since you've shown some interest in editing topics related to Bangladesh, we hope you'll stay and add content to Bangladesh related articles. A number of important articles related to Bangladesh are yet to be created and many of the existing ones are in poor shape. You can help it improve by becoming a regular editor with adhering to the policies of Wikipedia. Consider joining or watchlisting Bangladesh related discussions (for example, Noticeboard for Bangladesh-related topics).

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that will automatically produce your username and the date. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! CAPTAIN RAJU(T) 18:48, 24 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Muslin, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Short descriptions must actually describe the subject of the article: "Historical product of Bangladesh" could mean many things. This is an article about fabric and the short description must describe the true salient characteristics of the fabric, not its historical origin (which is irrelevant to its uses as a textile). August 2023

Information icon Hello, I'm Yahya. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —Yahya (talkcontribs.) 14:04, 16 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at List of political parties in Bangladesh, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Felida97 (talk) 15:44, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Correct short description is "none"

[edit]

When an article contains {{short description|none}}, do not add a short description. It is correct the way it is, so any change you make will be reverted. See WP:SDNONE. --Worldbruce (talk) 19:14, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Source-text integrity

[edit]

Information icon Hello! I'm Worldbruce. Your recent edit(s) to the page Bangladeshi diaspora appear to have added incorrect information, so they have been reverted for now. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page.
The cited source says the diaspora is 7.5 million. Wikipedia must match what the cited source says. There may be problems with the source, and if you can find a better source you're welcome to replace the current one, but you may not change the number without also changing to a source that supports it. Claiming that the current source supports the number 13 million is dishonest, as is claiming that 7.5 million is a typo. --Worldbruce (talk) 02:58, 29 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
