Vinzons, Camarines Norte

[edit]

Unfortunately he loss in this midterm election because of the massive vote buying of Mayor Ang and his husband Jay Ang. Reports from different sectors of the municipality showed that they paid up to two thousand pesos per voter to win, reports also showed that they cheated in this election.

this requires a verifiable reliable source, and "unfortunately" is POV. I am removing it again. Frietjes (talk) 22:11, 13 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello

[edit]

Hello, 155blue,

It is unusual for someone to dump a standardized warning on the user talk page for an editor who has been around for as many years and with as many edits as I; you can just talk to me with regular words if you want. Since you are still fairly inexperienced, I thought that it might be worth asking you to look at the text of the "warning" you left on my user talk page, so that you'll know when that particular template is best used. The template complains that I supposedly removed text from "Susan G. Komen for the Cure, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary."

The WP:Edit summary can be found on the article's history page, right next to the "undo" button that you clicked. My edit summary says, "The actual numbers aren't important, and the big relative difference is explained in the quotation". This is obviously a "valid reason for the removal" that was obviously given "in the edit summary".

Now you are free to disagree with me as to whether reporting the actual gross revenue of another organization with a very different mission is mere redundant clutter (my opinion) or terribly important, but your warning is inappropriate to the situation.

If you'd like to discuss whether it's valuable to say "ten times the size" and then repeat exactly the same comparison using the revenue numbers in the next sentence, then the place that you really want to leave a message is at Talk:Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and I encourage you to find that page and to try writing out your opinion about the question in your own words, giving common-sense reasons for being redundant. Reversal on Walt Disney Animation Studios using Twinkle

[edit]

Your reverse of remove of unsourced information and personal conjecture from the Walt Disney Animation Studios may amount to WP:TWINKLEABUSE, since no vandalism occurred, which is the purpose of Twinkle. Additional you reverted to a user that has racked up almost a score of minor edits that included some of the unsourced and conjecture not supported by the sources, but you failed to use Twinkle against those edits. --Spshu (talk) 23:49, 17 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

[edit]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 22:27, 25 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Inappropriate sockpuppetry charges

[edit]

Your sockpuppetry investigation against User:GuyHimGuy is inappropriate. There's scant evidence of sockpuppetry, and no evidence that you pursued other means to resolve the situation before pulling out the big guns. I suggest that an apology to GuyHimGuy is in order. Please be more cautious of accusing other users of vandalism and sockpuppetry. One of the guiding principles of Wikipedia is that we assume other editors are acting in good faith. I believe that you have the best interests of Wikipedia at heart, but undeserved warnings and investigations can scare away new editors and contribute to an undesirable atmosphere of hostility. My Observations

[edit]

Hey 155blue,

Looking at your talk page, it seems that I'm not alone in my case. When reverting the work of other editors, please assume good faith and not treat it as vandalism. As you can see on my contributions page, my track history is rather clean and it comprises of pretty much ALL productive edits. I am aware that what I did was an error and I take full responsibility for it. But it was a bit absurd that you had to report me for it, and cause my user number to be archived. For this, I am asking you with all due respect, to review WP:AOBF.
Thanks,
GuyHimGuy (talk) 17:28, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
