Please note that the National Hurricane Center issues tropical cyclone reports (TCRs) a few months after a storm has dissipated. The analysis that goes into these reports often finds a that a storm was stronger or weaker than it was initially assessed to be, so the TCR intensity estimates are generally considered to be more accurate than the advisories issued while a storm is active.
