Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. 2601:188:180:11F0:4510:6B10:E9EA:E8F6 (talk) 13:35, 4 September 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Wtmitchell. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Racism in Malaysia, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Wtmitchell (talk) (earlier Boracay Bill) 09:57, 19 May 2019 (UTC)

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Anti-Malay sentiment. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Wtmitchell (talk) (earlier Boracay Bill) 10:06, 19 May 2019 (UTC)
Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.Wakowako (talk) 11:54, 2 September 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Singapore, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Please do not refactor others' comments as you did here [1]. I have closed that section since the discussion was no longer productive. If you want to start a productive discussion or request an edit, you are welcome to do it in a new section. Please also remember that article talk pages are only for discussing the article and not other editors' edits. DreamLinker (talk) 02:17, 16 October 2019 (UTC)

- "Refactoring others' talk page comments on Talk:Singapore."
- Nonsense, not refactoring. I am opposing your section close. And this editor is attempting to legitimise himself without actually engaging on the talk page and answering my questions about his vague misleading edits. 183.90.36.137 (talk) 05:43, 16 October 2019 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Talk:Singapore. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. [2] and [3]. Please read the guidelines for refactoring content posted by other users on talk pages. You are welcome to post a comment below that or start a new section. If you dispute my close or if you feel that it is not warranted, please post at WP:AN. Additionally, I would encourage you to read our policy on communication in Wikipedia DreamLinker (talk) 18:22, 16 October 2019 (UTC)

[edit]This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Anderson Serangoon Junior College, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Justanothersgwikieditor (talk) 01:54, 6 October 2020 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
